We take swimming to where it belongs - Outdoors!

Outdoor swimming is better

Outdoor pools offer a cost-effective alternative to indoor pools and provide a refreshing swimming experience in warm water. The outdoor setting allows for natural ventilation, improving air quality by venting off potentially harmful chlorine compounds.

Our modular floating pool solutions are versatile and can be easily installed in city centers, promoting community activity and enhancing public health.

All our pools are energy-efficient due to effective insulation and a motorized cover that minimizes heat loss. Easy to transport, our lightweight pools aim to increase access to affordable aquatic facilities worldwide, promoting water safety and swimming skills.

GRP is the ideal material

We use glassfibre-reinforced polymer (GRP) composites as our primary construction material, where the sandwich material has a thick foam core and strong fiber reinforced laminates on both sides. The foam is made out of PET, which is basically re-cycled plastic bottles. The foam core is also a fantastic insulator, resulting in marginal heat loss between the warm water inside the pool and any cold air/water outside the pool.

Our pools also come with a reduced carbon footprint compared to similar solutions in concrete and/or steel. Combined with a design life of +100 years, the lifecycle carbon footprint becomes very favorable.

Our pools are corrosion-free, and easy to maintain.

Our pools are very light and strong, making them easy to transport, install or later relocate.

Experienced team

AQUARIOUS designs and manufactures swimming pools to private and public clients. Our pools can be made in any size or shape, and are made in robust, environmental-friendly and durable materials requiring a minimum of maintenance.

The AQUARIOUS team was instrumental in the development and fabrication of the first floating pool in Norway, which was installed in the City of Arendal in 2016. The prototype pool in composite materials is the first of its kind in the World. Together with our key partners, AQUARIOUS has now developed the next generation of floating composite pools, with significant improvements compared to the prototype, giving our clients increased quality and flexibility.

Based on our floating pool technology, AQUARIOUS has also developed a complete portfolio of pools for onshore use.

AQUARIOUS can offer pool solutions on a turn-key basis, where our standard pools are designed to comply with international standards such as FINA. We can also build pools taylor-made to your specific needs.  Feel free to contact us if you see an opportunity for our pool solutions in your area.
